Going on a safari had been a dream on my travel bucket list. So when I had the opportunity to go for a safari in Kenya, I couldn’t help but take it!

But Kenya isn’t just about the wildlife and safaris. Kenya is also home to some stunning white sand beaches. I spent just over a week in Kenya, and had the pleasure of experiencing a bit of both.

Best time to visit: The best time to visit Kenya is from January to March or from July to October, during the two dry seasons. The weather in Kenya tends to be very hot, so make sure to pack appropriately!

How to travel around Kenya: For long distances you can get internal flights, trains or buses. For shorter distances most travellers arrange private transfers and taxis.
