Spain Travel Guides
Spain is one of my favourite countries. If I had to choose anywhere else to live, it would be somewhere in Spain.
I love the food (tapas and pinchos are my favourite), the weather, the friendly locals and Spanish culture as a whole. I’ve been to Spain multiple times, visiting different parts of the country.
I love also the variety of it. From the beautiful palaces and cathedrals in mainland Spain, to the epic surfing beaches in the Canary Islands, Spain has something to offer for everyone.

Quick travel facts about Spain
Where is Spain? Spain is a country in Western Europe, in the Iberian Peninsula.
How to get there: You can find the cheapest flights to Spain via SkyScanner. You can also travel overland via train, bus or car from Portugal and France, or via ferry from other nearby countries.
Currency: Euro (EUR) – see the latest exchange rate here.
Electrical plugs in Spain:Types C&F (the ones you find throughout most of Europe) – I recommend an international adapter so you can use it on multiple trips.

Best time to visit: You can visit Spain at any time of year. Even in winter many parts of Spain are blessed with mild weather, and can be considered amongst the best European winter sun destinations.
If you’re looking for hot sunny days, then you should visit Spain in summer. However these are also during the peak season. My favourite time to visit Spain is in spring.
How to travel around Spain: Spain has an efficient railway and bus system. You can easily travel around Spain with public transport. However if you want maximum freedom then you should consider renting a car and going on a Spanish road trip.
