Le Jardin Secret Garden is located within the old town of Marrakech. Although it’s well signposted and relatively easy to find, because all the streets look similar, it can be tricky for guests to locate. Give yourself a little extra time to get there.

Koutoubia Mosque

Koutoubia Mosque is located in the centre of old Medina and acts as the centre of attention in the area.

It has a 75-metre high tower that was built all the way back in the 12th century. This beautiful structure can act as the focal point of any photo.

If you want to get a great picture of the tower, don’t head directly to the mosque, but rather to Parc Lalla Hasana. This is where you’ll get the best views of the beautiful keystone arches decorating the tower.

This UNESCO World Heritage Site is a fortified village acting as the perfect example of Moroccan clay architecture.

There are only five families left living in this kasbah, so it’s fairly abandoned and easy to explore. Be sure to visit the mosque, the fortified castle, the Muslim as well as the Jewish cemetery, and the public square.
